About

I work for you! As your Assembly Member, I am fighting to make sure that you do more than just
survive. You and your family deserve to thrive in a safe community that has a high quality home
that you can afford, takes care of our homeless, have good paying jobs, and high-quality
education. You elected me to represent you in the State Assembly in Sacramento and it would
be an honor to continue to do so. This is our time to make sure that we get our fair share of
resources and opportunities from our State. I am running and asking you for your vote to be
your voice so we can build a better future where:

● We all have the ability to buy a house and build wealth
● We all have a job that pays all of our bills
● We all have affordable childcare
● We hold our government accountable
● We all have affordable health care

Biography: I was elected to represent you in the State Assembly in 2022. I passed the law to
stop the banning of books and stop foster care children from living in business offices and
detention centers. I am a trained social worker and have a Master's degree in Social Work
(MSW) and have my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree. I currently serve as Chair of the
Budget Subcommittee on Human Services and Chair of the Select Committee on California’s
Mental Health crisis.

Join this campaign to make sure we all have what we need to thrive.
